Feel free to introduce yourself here. We suggest you use a username or just your first name for privacy reasons.
Some good questions for you might be: 1. Why did you buy your mill 2. What type of wood do you like to cut 3. What are some projects you've made with your lumber? 4. Where do you mill (again, general locations such as "Southern Ontario") 5. Do you have a youtube channel we should follow?
Thanks!

My name is Sam and I live in southeast Ga. I have had my mill about 6 months and have only sawn about 2500 b/f of pine/cypress/red oak/maple. I also build furniture and primarily bought this to reduce material cost for other projects. I'm still learning as I go but glad to see a forum with other owners.

New guy here. Just ordered my HF mill the other day. Can't wait for it to come in. I've been stabbing at it with a logosol m8, it's a good lil mill for slabbing and going deep in the woods. My site is. Www.ferallumber.com

My name is well and i live in Southeast Texas. I got an early retirement package from the oilfield company i worked for for 20 years and i am retired from the US Navy as well. I have 38 acres of heavily forested land on which I am building my home. I bought the mill to cut lumber for the house as well as to see if i might make a little money on the side. If I don't, no big deal, i'm retired with 2 decent pensions so I'll get by anyway. In the meantime, I'm having a blast cutting lumber for the house and some other small projects.

Hello, new member and live around the Tomah Wisconsin area. Just got my second mill (the other one is on my property in Alaska) and love it. I own 80 acres covered in Oak, Cherry, Birch, Walnut,Hickory, and some Pine. I cut for hobby and building things. Looking for longer track ideas?
