Hey guys, has anyone had luck with filling that gap between the two tracks? I was thinking about welding it but I'm not sure if that would make a big difference or not? Thanks.

Mine actually fit pretty tight & I didn't have this problem. But I replaced my track with 2 20' pieces.

Mine fit pretty tight as well but I would weld and grind it back smooth if your gap is felt in the carriage. I'm in the process of adding 12 more feet of track and I may have to do the same for my addition, we will see. Solid 1 piece tracks would be best, but not an option right now.

I welded mine because i had issues with the fit up being tight enough. I ground a slight bevel on the outside of the vertical and the inside of the horizontal. Then I welded them up and ground them flat. Worked great.
